Project Description

The Health Sciences Education Building is located on the Greenville Memorial Medical Campus. This 90,910 SF Up-fit and addition to a three-story building shell consists of second and third floors added over the main atrium. Both floors have a circumference of glass windows that offer a full view of the building’s exterior surroundings. The facility includes leading-edge infrastructure that supports the state-of-the-art audiovisual, distance education and simulation lab technology. Spaces offer flexibility to suit multiple academic uses, including classrooms, lecture halls, gross anatomy lab, multi-disciplinary virtual labs, simulation center, clinical skills suite, library, administration spaces, student lounge, study rooms, common areas and a café. Spectrum provided metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, floating wood ceilings and sound panels.
